Koen Zomer



Koen is registered at the Dutch Bar on August the 19th of 2016. He aims at the broad civil law practice, with the focus on compagnies and intellectual property.

Before Koen was registered at the Dutch Bar, he worked at Zomer Advocaten as a paralegal. The work he did, varies from supporting in the search for legal solutions, assisting in the writing of pleadings and he also had some administrative tasks.

Koen specialises in company and corporate law, but also intellectual property law and international civil law at the Radboud University Nijmegen. He graduated for his masters degree in June of 2016. In the summer of 2014 he graduated for his bachelors degree in dutch law at the VU University Amsterdam.

From 2008 till 2013 Koen was an employee of Rabobank Amsterdam, where he fulfilled various functions. His last function there was as a service and retail advisor for private customers. In the time at Rabobank Amsterdam he participated in several courses and he acquired a number of certificates pertaining to the dutch financial supervision act (Wft) and the act against money laundering and financing of terrorism (Wwft). Besides all of that he has gained a rich experience in providing financial services and customer services in general.
